As a huge fan of psychological thrillers, I am always on the hunt for a story that can keep me hooked from start to finish without stalling out. The Daughter in the Cellar absolutely delivered, and it is a solid 5 stars from me!
This was my first time reading Yvette Davies, and to be honest, I hesitated for a moment when I first opened it—though now I can’t even remember why. Once the story kicked off, I couldn’t put it down.

What a fabulous read. I was hooked right from the start and just could not put it down. A truly gripping story with a few twists and turns. Some very interesting characters who I felt I got to know quite well. I love the writing style and liked that the story was told from the point of view of the different characters.

Such a rollercoaster of a book that pulls you through so much emotion, of anticipation, of suspense, of what the hell….. such an easy read that flows continuously, leaving you to keep turning to the next page, then another page, then to the next chapter then OH.MY.DAYS!
